The reward of an H.O.T bet will only apply to a bet that has been placed using the H.O.T button on the betslip. You must click this button to activate the H.O.T bet and then click "BET NOW".

The H.O.T bet is only activated on specific races and venues. Look for the H.O.T activated sign.

Only one H.O.T bet will apply per race on which the feature is activated.

Placing an H.O.T bet can only be done through www.interbet.co.za and is not available on interbet.mobi or the exchange.

Your selection is final. An H.O.T bet cannot be cancelled. Please check that your bet is correct before placing it.

The H.O.T price will be derived from trade on Interbet's exchange platform 2 hours prior to the carded race time with maximum odds of 20/1.

The highest odds will be determined by the volume traded on the horse. The odds must be traded at a volume of R10,000 or more for it to be deemed the Highest Odds Traded.

If the H.O.T cannot be derived from the volume traded or tote odds, a bookmaker stretched odds will be determined from the closing S.P (Starting price) and shall not exceed 20/1.

Players designated by Interbet as expert or professional are excluded from this promotion.

BONUS BET GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Bonus Bet is a risk-free bet on any fixed odds, pre-match, single bet available at Interbet to customers who hold an account with Interbet.

A bonus bet is made using funds in the bonus bet balance. The bonus bet balance is separate from a cash balance and any funds in the bonus bet balance cannot be withdrawn.

The bonus bet balance will increase as deposit match bonuses are added to it. For example, If the offer is a 100% match on a deposit up to R1,000, once an account holder has met the requirements to receive this bonus, they will receive a match bonus of R1,000 only, which will be added to their account.

The requirements to receive the match bonus is that an account holder must wager the entire amount of the qualifying deposit that is made before the match bonus is added to the account. If the total amount of the deposit is not wagered within the stipulated time for a specific promotion, the match bonus will not be added to the account.

The bonus will only be added up to the maximum amount stipulated. In the event that a qualifying deposit is in excess of the maximum deposit amount allowed for an offer, the match bonus will not be added to the total amount of that deposit but rather to part of the deposit that qualifies for the match bonus. For example, if the offer is a 100% match on a deposit up to R1,000 and an account holder deposits R2,000, they will only receive a match bonus on the R1,000 that qualified for the promotion and once the requirements are met, R1,000 will be added to their account.

The match bonus will be added to the account automatically within 5 minutes once the deposit and bet requirements, as explained in points 3 and 4 above, are met.

An account holder will have 30 days to use the match bonus from the date that it is added to an account. After this time, it will expire and be removed from the account.

The Bonus Bet balance is capped at a maximum of R5000. This is the maximum amount that is allowed to accumulate in an account. If there are active promotions running and you make a qualifying deposit but your bonus bet balance has reached the maximum of R5000, no further bonus can be added to your account.

If the bet that is placed with funds from a bonus bet balance is a winning bet, only the win amount will be paid. The stake that originated from a bonus is lost and it is excluded from the win amount.

The account holder can only place one bet per event using a bonus bet. For example, if your bet on the bonus ball in a lotto event is “Bonus Ball High” you will not be able to use a bonus bet to bet on “Bonus Ball Low” in the same event.

The bonus balance and bonus bet feature is only available on https://www.interbet.co.za and is not available through the Interbet exchange or on interbet.mobi.

The bonus bet cannot be used on tote, live betting or Interbet Exchange betting. The bonus bet may only be used on single, fixed odds bets under Horse racing, Numbers, Sport and Soccer Zone.

A withdrawal will lead to any amount in the bonus bet balance being forfeited. This means that if a withdrawal is made while there are any funds in the bonus bet balance, that bonus bet balance will be lost. For example, if you have R100 in your cash balance and R100 in your bonus bet balance and you decide to make a withdrawal, the R100 in your bonus bet balance will be removed from your account at the time that you confirm the withdrawal. It is best to use any funds in your bonus bet balance first, before making a withdrawal.

The Bonus Bet is only available to leisure punters. Bookmakers and professional punters are excluded. Professional punters will be deemed so at the discretion of management.

Loyalty points are not earned on bonus bets.

Interbet is not obliged to accept any bet or type of bet. Accordingly, Interbet reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet without offering any explanation. You acknowledge, agree and confirm that all betting transactions with Interbet shall be subject to the market win limits and the daily overall win limit:

  • 1.1.1 You undertake not to submit any betting transaction offer which exceeds the win limits
  • 1.1.2 You acknowledge that it is possible that the computer software, for whatsoever reason, of Interbet and/or the conduct/misconduct of its team members may result in Interbet accepting your betting transaction offer (notwithstanding your undertaking indicated in 2.1.1) and notwithstanding that such offer exceeds the win limit impositions
  • 1.1.3 You agree that should you breach the undertaking indicated in 1.1.1 and should Interbet accept such offer from you, then, in such event, Interbet, in its sole discretion, shall be entitled at any time (before, during and/or after the event) to void or cancel the betting transaction, alternatively shall be entitled to reduce the betting transaction win limit amount so as to bring it within the maximum win limit amount

1.2 Right to Refuse/Limit Bets

  • 1.2.1 Interbet recognizes that whilst it takes all possible steps to prevent errors during the course of betting transactions, errors may arise as a result of, inter alia, computer hardware and or computer software or human errors. Such errors may include the failure of the computer system to reject certain betting transactions e.g. related bets or betting transactions that exceed the limit impositions, or reflect the incorrect odds or handicaps or have an event (other than an in-running event), open after the scheduled start time. In all these events Interbet shall be entitled to correct these errors or cancel the betting transactions. Interbet is under no obligation to communicate with the customer, either before or after the affected event, with regard to any correction/cancellation and the failure by the customer to receive any communication shall not entitle the customer to contend for the existence of a valid and binding betting transaction.
  • 1.2.2 Interbet reserves the right to correct any errors in odds offered by Interbet at any time by substituting the corrected odds as determined by Interbet, in its sole discretion in respect of the event concerned, for the original Interbet price, regardless of whether or not the bet has been struck, in which event you will be deemed to have been offered and where applicable, accepted and accordingly the bet to have been struck at the corrected odds.
  • 1.2.3 Interbet reserves the right to correct any errors in sports betting handicaps offered by Interbet at any time by substituting the corrected sports betting handicaps as determined by Interbet, in its sole discretion in respect of the event concerned, regardless of whether or not the bet has been struck, in which event you will be deemed to have been offered and where applicable, accepted the corrected sports betting handicaps and accordingly the bet to have been struck at the corrected sports betting handicaps.
  • 1.2.4 If a customer should realise or suspect that Interbet’ computer system and/or its employees or agents may have made an error in accepting a betting transaction, then the customer is urged to communicate with Interbet to determine whether in fact an error has taken place and thereby avoid the potential dispute and disappointment when the betting transaction concerned has been corrected or cancelled.

In the event that any representation made by you proving to be false, your stake shall be forfeited and Interbet shall not be obliged to pay any winnings which might otherwise have been payable in respect of the bet.

  • 1.2.5 If Interbet, in its sole discretion, believes or has reason to believe that the bettor is using a nom de plume (i.e. betting under an assumed name), with or without the other person’s permission, then the customer agrees that he/she shall forfeit all stakes in respect of such bets and Interbet shall not be obliged to pay any winnings which might otherwise have been payable in respect of the bets. In all instances, the onus to prove the validity of the bet shall rest with the customer.

Furthermore, Interbet reserves its right to freeze all accounts which it, in its sole discretion, believes or has reason to believe are suspicious pending an investigation by the relative authorities, be they SARS and/or FIC investigators, and personal verification by Interbet or its appointed agents.

Collection of winning bets

  1. If any winning amount payable by the holder of a bookmaker or totalisator operator licence in consequence of a bet is not collected within ninety (90) days of the date on which the outcome thereof was finally determined, such bet shall be payable at the discretion of the relevant licence holder, provided that any tax payable in respect of such a bet shall remain payable, irrespective of whether payment is effected.
  2. The holder of a bookmaker or totalisator operator licence shall, in a prominent position within its licensed premises where it’s licensed premises provides physical access to the public for betting purposes, display a notice informing players that winnings in respect of any bet must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the determination of the outcome of such bet.

Payout limits

  • Except for bets placed on the Tote or where a higher single win payout limit is expressly specified, the maximum win for any bet or group of bets placed by an Interbet client is limited to R500,000 during a 24 hour period. Irrespective of any combination of winning tickets no payout will exceed this amount under any circumstances.

Notice: “No more bets”

The holder of a bookmaker or totalisator operator licence shall display in a prominent and visible place on the licensed premises where its licensed premises is open to the public for betting purposes a notice in large legible writing and in permanent ink where bets are offered on horse racing events, stating that:

  1. no bets shall be accepted in respect of a horse race once such horse race has officially started, and
  2. all bets placed on a horse race after the official starting time thereof will be void.

VALID WINNING TOTE BETS THAT ARE PLACED AND PAID FOR ON INTERBET BUT NOT RECEIVED INTO THE TOTALISATOR POOLS:

Carryovers / Net Pool Ruling

In the event that valid Tote bets that are placed and paid for on Interbet, together with a valid ticket number but the bets are not received through the Totalisator, Interbet will undertake to pay winnings based on the official dividends declared by Saftote.

In addition to the above limits, where any valid winning bet is placed on Interbet but has not been received into the Totalisator, Interbet reserves the right to limit a dividend/return on a payout to the extent that the total payout does not exceed the "Nett Tote Pool" (or in other words the Gross Tote pool less the Totalisator deductions).

Should there be no winning tickets on any pool on the Totalisator (i.e. a full carryover) but winning tickets at Interbet that were not received into the Totalisator, Interbet will pay a dividend determined by dividing the Totalisator net pool by the number of all winning combinations at Interbet. The maximum liability to any customer or syndicate of customers as may be determined by Interbet in its sole discretion shall be limited to the total net Pool. These dividends and pay-outs will be subject to ticket limits. Interbet’s maximum liability, in totality, to customers shall be limited to the pool. These dividends and pay-outs will be subject to the overriding daily payout limit.

By way of example if a Soccer 6 is not won on the Totalisator and a Net pool of R10 000 is carried over. There are 10 winning combinations at Interbet on this event that have not been received through the Totalisator, then the Net pool of R10 000 is divided by 10 and a dividend of R1000 will be declared by Interbet on this event subject to their overriding limits.

At NO point will dividends exceed the Net Pool.

Where a portion of the pool is a carryover and is declared by the Totalisator bet, Interbet shall pay the winning dividend as declared by Saftote. However, the liability shall be limited to the value of the pool paid out and NOT the value of the total pool.

By way of example, if a Soccer 6 net pool is R10 000 on an event and a dividend of R900 is declared to 7 winning tickets of 63% of the net pool on Saftote (total payout R6300) and a carryover of R3700 is declared, then Interbet’s maximum liability to any customer (or syndicate of customers or any group of people as may be determined by Interbet in its sole discretion) shall be limited to the value of the pay-out, being R900 for the R1 unit.

The carryover figure will not be taken into account in declaring the dividend as the calculation of the dividend has already taken the carryover figure into account. Where a partial carryover is declared by the Saftote Totalisator, on non-commingled pools, Interbet shall pay its winning customers based on the value of the total pool. Interbet’s maximum liability shall be limited to the total pool. These dividends and pay-outs will be subject to the overriding daily payout limit.

Payout Limits (Tote, Exotic, SP, All On and Yankee type bets):

Payout limits on valid winning tickets that are not received into the Totalisator apply to Win, Place, Swinger, Exacta, Trifecta, Quartet, Double, Place Accumulator, Jackpot, Pick 3, Bipot, Pick 6, Mixa Bets, Rugby Special, Score Special, Soccer GG, Soccer Pot, Soccer Special, Starting Price, All-to-Come and Yankee type bets. Pay-outs will be limited to the lower of the pool limit and the limits as detailed above.

Examples:
